What Is Happening With Trigify? The Team Joins HubSpot and the Platform Closes on 22 October 2026

The Trigify team is joining HubSpot, and the Trigify platform is closing. The standalone product stops at 11:59pm BST on 22 October 2026, and with it go account access, data exports, integrations and API access. If you rely on Trigify for LinkedIn buying signals, you need an alternative in place before that date.

This article explains what happened, what exactly stops, what to look for in a Trigify alternative, and how to move your signals to Clearcue. For the short version, see our announcement post.

What happened to Trigify?

Trigify started three years ago as an agency with a goal of building the best signal platform on the market, and built it in public, with weekly vlogs along the way. It went through many pivots before becoming the LinkedIn signal tool most customers know.

Over the last 12 months, the team worked on its most ambitious signal engine: turning messy, unstructured data into context that go-to-market teams can use. That work caught HubSpot's attention. The team is now joining HubSpot to bring that experience to HubSpot's work on AI and context for go-to-market.

The Trigify product does not come with them. In the announcement's own words:

"As the Trigify team begins its next chapter with HubSpot, we'll be winding down the standalone Trigify platform."

It is a good outcome for a lean team, and we congratulate them. It also shows where the market is going: knowing who is showing buying intent, and why, is becoming core infrastructure for sales and marketing teams using AI.

When does Trigify close, and what stops?

Closing date 11:59pm BST, 22 October 2026
Different dates Customers with individual contracts may have their own date, sent to them directly
Account access Stops on the closing date
Data exports Only possible until the closing date
Integrations and API Stop on the closing date
Renewals Subscriptions do not renew past the end date
Billing Final invoices, credits or refunds are communicated to each customer directly
Your data Not used by HubSpot; retained or deleted under Trigify's contractual, privacy and legal obligations

The integration and API point matters most. If Trigify feeds Clay, HubSpot, a webhook, Zapier, HeyReach or Lemlist, those workflows will not show an error on 23 October. They will simply stop receiving leads.

Who is affected?

  • Teams tracking LinkedIn engagement on their own posts, competitors' posts or influencers' posts.
  • Teams running keyword searches on LinkedIn posts for buying intent.
  • Teams using Trigify as a data source for Clay, where Trigify supplied the engagement and Clay did the enrichment and qualification.
  • Agencies running Trigify workflows for several clients.
  • Anyone with automations built on Trigify's API or integrations.

What should Trigify customers do before 22 October?

  1. Export your data. Tracked profiles, keyword lists, company lists, leads and any engagement history you want to keep.
  2. Document your signals. For each one, write down what it watches, what makes a lead good, and where the lead goes next.
  3. Map your dependencies. List every workflow, table and integration that reads from Trigify.
  4. Pick an alternative and run it in parallel. Start collecting leads in the new tool while Trigify still works, so there is no gap.
  5. Switch your downstream tools to the new source before the closing date.

What should you look for in a Trigify alternative?

  • The same core signals. Engagement on LinkedIn posts, keyword post search, company and competitor mentions, job changes.
  • Qualification built in. Raw engagement lists need cleaning. A good alternative filters leads against your ICP so you do not need a separate tool for it.
  • Predictable pricing. Trigify's credits were spent per result, so cost rose with every lead found. Look for pricing that does not punish signals for working.
  • Sources beyond LinkedIn. Hiring, funding, news and events often show intent before anyone posts about it.
  • Easy migration. You have weeks, not months. Setup should take minutes, not a data-engineering project.
  • Your stack and your AI tools. CRM, Slack, outreach tools, and access from Claude or ChatGPT.

Is Clearcue a good Trigify alternative?

Clearcue is a signal platform that finds buyers showing intent and delivers them as qualified leads. It covers what Trigify did on LinkedIn and adds sources Trigify did not track:

  • LinkedIn engagement: people who like, comment on or repost your posts, your competitors' posts and influencers' posts.
  • Keyword and topic search: LinkedIn posts about the problems you solve, qualified by AI against your criteria.
  • Mentions: posts mentioning your company or competitors.
  • Job changes: new joiners in the roles you sell to, from announcement posts and a people database.
  • Job boards: companies hiring for roles that signal a need for your product.
  • Company research: a company's first hire in a new country or department, hiring in a country where it has no employees, or a team growing or shrinking fast.
  • News and events: funding, new offices, launches, and people attending or speaking at the conferences your buyers go to.
  • Warm paths: people at target accounts who worked or studied with someone you already know.
  • Signal stacking: signals on the same person or company are combined, so the accounts showing the most intent rise to the top.

Leads go to HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Slack, HeyReach and Lemlist, and AI agents can reach them through the Clearcue MCP and API.

How do I transition from Trigify to Clearcue?

Migration takes a few clicks, because you do not rebuild signals by hand.

  1. Create an account at clearcue.ai/register.
  2. Paste your Trigify signals into CueAI. Describe them in plain language, for example: "Track people who engage with posts from our CEO and our two main competitors, and anyone posting about SDR hiring." CueAI creates the matching Clearcue signals, and you approve each one.
  3. Or use the Clearcue MCP. Connect Clearcue to Claude or ChatGPT, paste your Trigify signal list or export, and the agent creates the signals for you.
  4. Import your leads. Upload the companies and people from your Trigify export, then tag them, add them to lists and track them with signals.
  5. Connect your stack. Point your CRM, Slack or outreach tools at Clearcue instead of Trigify.

Is Clearcue cheaper than Trigify?

For most teams, yes, because Clearcue does not charge for results.

Trigify's current plans were Starter at $40/month with 4,000 credits and Max at $199/month with 40,000 credits, plus $0.012 per extra credit. Credits were spent on results:

Trigify action Credits
Each post returned by a search 1
Each like or comment pulled from a post 1
Person or email enrichment 4
Company enrichment 10

One post with 500 likes cost 500 credits just to see who liked it.

Clearcue charges per active signal, and every lead those signals find is included:

Plan Price Active signals Leads
Starter €99/month (€79/month billed yearly) 7 Unlimited
Pro €249/month (€199/month billed yearly) 25 Unlimited

A signal that finds 50 leads one month and 2,000 the next costs the same. See pricing for all plans.
